Text Box: Features and Benefits Good Oxidation Resistance  MOV uses severely hydrotreated mineral oil with a patented antioxidant package and a patented thickener technology.  Testing shows Long Life does better than most current products. Good EP Characteristics  The calcium sulphonate thickener provides good extreme pressure (EP) and anti-wear numbers.  Excellent Mechanical Stability  Unlike lithium and lithium complex thickened greases, the calcium sulphonate thickener remains stable when heat and water are added.  They are also not susceptible to age hardening.  Low Oil Bleed  Helps provide long service lives and provides good service in pressurized lubrication systems. Low oil bleed means less mess from oil seepage. Excellent Corrosion Resistance  Other greases tend to fail at 100 hours in the ASTM salt fog test while MOV Long Life is still going at > 300 hours.   Good Material Compatibility  The base oil is compatible with the standard elastomers and the lack of EP additives and dyes reduces the problems that arise when mixing greases.  Good Multipurpose Grease  Good for many applications including bearings, gears, shaft couplings, slides and other similar applications.  The MOV Long Life has been subjected to EQ testing and can replace more costly radiation resistant greases.  MOV Long Life offers good stability even up to over 220 Mrad. Other.  Disposal and stress corrosion cracking should be less of an issue, due to the absence of chlorinated additives and zinc, as well as the success in leachate testing.  Also, because the base oil viscosity is less than some other grade 2 greases this could mean lower running friction and energy savings.
